Del. Senator To Introduce Death Penalty Repeal Bill

DOVER, Del. - One local legislator plans to introduce a bill to repeal the death penalty.

Next Tuesday, Sen. Karen Peterson (D, Dist. 9) will rally at Legislative Hall for the introduction of legislation to repeal Delaware's death penalty.

The legislation will later be presented to the Delaware General Assembly with the support of religious and community leaders, as well as the families of murder victims.
