DOVER, Del; The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control Division of Fish and Wildlife is looking for volunteers. They need help with "Bye Bye Boxwood," a habitat restoration project, at the Cedar Swamp Wildlife Area.

The event will take place on March 9, from 1 to 3 PM. Volunteers will be responsible for removing boxwood shrubs that are overwhelming native plants.

Anyone interested is asked to meet at the Cedar Swamp Wildlife Area's Vogel Tract. For more information, or to sign up, contact Lynne Staub at 302-735-3600 or email her at lynne.staub@state.de.us. Pre-registration is not required, but is suggested in case of inclement weather.

Additional information and directions can be found on their volunteer website.
