PRIME HOOK BEACH, Del. – Officials from DelDOT say residents of the Prime Hook Community may experience flooding that could cut off all access to the surround area.
Officials say, based on the most recent weather forecast, residents and visitors to Prime Hook are advised that even secondary access to the community may be cut off in the coming storm.
DelDot advises that even though it has been able to secure emergency alternate access during previous storms, there is reportedly a strong possibility that the access point will flood.
Officials say if this is to occur, Prime Hook will be isolated from the mainland throughout the storm and possibly cut off from emergency assistance until flood waters recede.
