Two Monday Night Fires Burn In Accomack County

ACCOMACK CO., Va. - Monday night added two more fires to the ever growing list in Accomack County.

WMDT was on scene for a structure fire on the 26,900 block of White's Crossing in Hallwood late Monday night. Virginia State Police say the initial call was made at about 11:17 p.m. Damage appears minimal and isolated to a back room.

Emergency Dispatchers also confirmed a structure on the 25200 block of Savageville  road in Onancock. Reports say damage to this structure is similar.

Through initial investigations, both fires appear to be arson. As of now, neither fire has been officially linked to the string of 58 arsons plaguing the county.
