DELMAR, Del. - A Delmar bar owner has been arrested, after police reportedly found illegal gambling machines in the establishment.
The Division of Alcohol & Tobacco Enforcement says they received a complaint about the machines at the Sport Nuts Restaurant and Pub in Delmar, and then started an undercover investigation.
During that investigation DATE says they found two gambling devices in the bar area, and two more in a private room, when they searched the property on Saturday. All four machines, financial records, and $733 in cash were seized by officials.
The bar's owner, 35-year-old James Daley, was arrested and charged with possession of a gambling device, and providing premises for gambling. He was later released on bond. The situation remains under investigation at this time, and officials say that more arrests are expected.
