Save Money With Delmarva Power's Energy Wise Rewards

DELMARVA -  One local power company is challenging you to conserve energy. It's called "Energy Wise Rewards," a Delmarva Power program that allows customers to reduce electricity usage by cycling central air conditioners during the warmest months. A staff member will come out and install the device in your home, and then the cycles will be run automatically through the company.

Delmarva Power's Matt Likovich says, "it's basically a way to avert stress on the system, the need to build higher cost power plants, and this is a way of getting customers to budget their energy use in a productive way for them."

By saving energy officials say you can also save a couple bucks. The program is already available in Maryland, and will be available for Delaware customers in the coming days. For more information, visit Delmarva Power's website.
