Rollerblader Seriously Injured In Rehoboth Beach Hit-And-Run

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Delaware State Police is looking into a Saturday night crash that left a man rollerblading seriously injured.

Investigators say an unidentified rollerblader was riding on the shoulder heading westbound on Rehoboth Avenue, west of Church Street when he was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle reportedly  drove away from the scene, heading westward after the collision.

The male, who is reportedly listed in serious condition, was transported by ambulance to Beebe Hospital and then flown to Christiana Hospital, where he was admitted with injuries to his head and torso.

Delaware State Police is asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at Troop 7 at (302) 644-5020 extension 117.
