BRIDGEVILLE, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have arrested a man they say stole copper irrigation wire from a site in Bridgeville.

Forty-year-old Ronnie L. Rust Jr. of Seaford was arrested Thursday and charged with theft and numerous other offenses. He is being held on $10,500 secured bond.

Troopers say Rust's truck was seen in area where several irrigation systems had been targeted with thefts of the copper wiring. Troopers conducted a traffic stop and say they saw several spools of irrigation wire in the open bed of the truck.
