Budget Cuts May Not Affect Local Health Departments

WORCESTER COUNTY, Md. - Spending cuts may mean fewer food safety inspections in some areas here on Delmarva.

However, local health departments like Worcester County shouldn't be affected.

We spoke with officials who tell WMDT they do not receive federal funds, but the state health department may see some cut backs.
