The Link Between School Breakfast & Good Test Scores

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Lawmakers in Annapolis believe new research supports the connection between school breakfast and good test scores. 


The study shows that when breakfast is served to low-income students, 32,000 students could possibly score higher on standardized math tests. 

They say this supports Governor Martin O'Malleys push to get more funding for the Maryland Meals for Achievement program, which serves in-classroom breakfast in high-need schools.
