Maryland's First Offshore Wind Farm To Come To Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. - It appears Maryland's very first offshore wind farm is coming to the Eastern Shore. 


Tuesday, the Senate Finance Committee passed a bill that would allow for its construction, about ten miles off the coast of Ocean City. 

We're told in the next year or two, developers will submit proposals for the wind farm, but the actual construction most likely won't begin until 2017.
