Arrested: Charles Tilghman
DOVER, Del. - Police have arrested a Dover man, after he allegedly stabbed another man. Dover Police say 34-year-old Charles Tilghman violated a no contact orders, and went into a Kent Apartment on S. New Street in Dover.
Once inside, Tilghman reportedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the 34-year-old victim in the chest. Police say that Tilghman fled, but they caught up with him later, and arrested him. The victim is listed in stable condition at Bayhealth Medical.
Tilghman was charged with 1st degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon during commission of a felony, 1st degree burglary, possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited, and breach of release. He is being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional on $41,500 bond.
