SALISBURY, Md. - The Holiday season may be over, but the giving is still going on.
Tuesday night, Decorating Delmarva awarded $46,000 to schools and other non-profit organizations who were a part of wintertime event. The prize money came from community donations. This is the first year for this award ceremony, and Decorating Delmarva hopes to keep growing, and keep giving.
"The community now knows that this money's there and all they and all they have to do is participate. Doesn't cost them a dime," says Mark Cathell, Event Promoter for Decorating Delmarva.
