Maple Elementary School Students Collect For Food Pantry

DORCHESTER CO., Md. - Students at a local elementary school are learning to give back at a young age.

2nd grade students at Maple Elementary School in Dorchester County, have been collecting food items for Zion United Methodist Church's Food Pantry.

Students decorated collection boxes, and on Tuesdays they check the boxes, and tally how much they've collected. Over the last two weeks, the students have collected more than 450 items! They will keep collecting until February 28th.
