UPDATE: Fatal Single Car Crash In Hebron

HEBRON, Md. - An Easton woman died on Monday morning, after her car hit a utility pole on Route 50.

Maryland State Police say 45-year-old Sheila Lowery Potter, was driving West on Ocean Gateway, near Old Railroad Road in Hebron, when she apparently crossed over the grassy center median. Police say that the Maroon Chevrolet Impala continued over both lanes of East bound traffic, before hitting a utility pole, and coming to a stop on its side.

Potter was pronounced dead at the scene, by EMS. The incident is still under investigation by Maryland State Police. Stay tuned to WMDT.com, WMDT, and our Facebook page for the latest.
