SALISBURY, Md. - More details are being released on the fire that blazed through an apartment building Sunday, reportedly displacing six adults and a dozen children.
Police say the fire broke out in a 3 story, wood frame apartment complex at 1004 Fairground Drive in Salisbury. No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze.
Investigators say it took 40 firefighters 25 minutes to contain the fire that caused over $75000 in damages. The origin of the fire was reportedly a bedroom on the second floor of the building.
According to reports, the fire alarm was operating but there was no sprinkler system in the building.
