Police Confirm Sunday Fire In Accomack County

MELFA, Va. – Virginia State Police confirm yet another structure fire on Sunday night.

Police say the blaze was on the 2800 block of Beacon Road in Melfa. Reports say an abandoned, two story structure that was on fire around 9:20 p.m.

No injuries were reported and the fire has not been linked to the string of arsons that have plagued Accomack County since November.

According to Police, this fire is still under investigation.
