SALISBUR, Md. - Robert Wallace Kilpatrick, 90, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Salisbury Center: Genesis Eldercare. Born in Custer Park, IL, he was the son of the late Frank Kilpatrick and Della Hulburt Kilpatrick. He served in the US Army for over 21 years, retiring in 1963 as Chief Warrant Officer 4 and as a Major in the Army Infantry Reserves. His greatest enjoyment came from gardening.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Gloria Anna Haase Kilpatrick; two daughters, Gloria Anne Kilpatrick and her husband, Martin of Lancaster, PA and Roberta Anne Tractenberg and her husband, Stanley of Boca Raton, FL. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 25, 2013 at 1:00 pm at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Edward M. Aigner, Jr. will officiate. A Chapel Service and Committal with military honors will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.
