MILFORD, Del. - Police have arrested four people on drug and weapons offences, in a Milford hotel room.
Delaware State Police, along with the Kent County Drug Unit and the Kent County Governor's Task Force, went to the Super 8 Hotel, for a tip about a wanted woman. In Room #210, officers say they found who they were looking for, Melissa Summers, 27, of Houston, along with Jemal Greene, 39, of Dover, Megan Maloney, 19, of Harrington, Robin Walls, 24, of Harrington, and a three-year-old child.
Police say in the room, they saw a loaded 9mm handgun, and drug paraphernalia. All four adults were then arrested, while the child was turned over to a relate at the scene.
A full search of the room revealed, 422 bundles of heroin, 153 oxycodone, 32 suboxone strips, and more than $1,100 in suspected drug proceeds, along with a .40 caliber handgun that was reported stolen in November of 2011.
All four were charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, possession of a stolen firearm, 2nd degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, and possession of marijuana. Greene and Maloney were additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. All four are being held on bond.
