Fruitland Transfer Station Options Narrowed Down

FRUITLAND, Md. - An update on the Fruitland Transfer Station project.  The search for a location has been narrowed down from 28 to 2.  At a community meeting Tuesday night, Wicomico County Executive Rick Pollit discussed possible options with residents.  One of those choices is the current, temporary, site, or another location across the street.

The county hopes to come to a decision soon, since the current lease expires at the end of the month.
