Vehicle Accident in Delmar

DELMAR, Md. - WMDT has confirmed an accident in Delmar involves a large tractor trailer that hit a vehicle on Route 13 and Connelly Mill Road.

Hazmat crews are on the scene, indicating a possible spill.

The intersection at Winner Boulevard is blocked, cutting off the entrance to the Pond's Edge apartment complex and an adjoining neighborhood (Holly Lane & Marlboro Drive).

The barricade was just moved up, so residents are no longer cut off from the area.

Northbound 13 is reportedly still shut down for the time being, but Southbound lanes are still open.

Police are requesting all traffic go eastbound on Dagsboro Road and take detour North back to access Northbound 13.
