Unattended Death In Princess Anne

Posted: Updated:

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Just two days after the murder of University of Maryland Eastern Shore student Edmond St. Clair, Princess Anne police say another man was found dead in a residence on Beckford Avenue, not far from the UMES campus.

The cause of death and man's identity had not been confirmed at the time of this report, as police were waiting to notify next of kin, but law enforcement suspect the 20-something black male took his own life.  Police were apparently able to identify the individual due to a relatively recent call he made, complaining about a civil dispute regarding property.

No foul play is suspected, and police do not believe this death had any connection to the murder on the campus of UMES.
