Harlem Globetrotters Teaches Salisbury Youth To Prevent Bullying

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - One member of the Harlem Globetrotters reaches out to kids about how to prevent bullying.

Buckets Blakes spoke with children today at the Mid Shore Family Branch YMCA in Salisbury. The basketball player show them some skills on and off-the-court about how they can reduce bullying and violence in their schools.

"After we're done talking to the kids, they'll be our little messengers and they'll spread the word," said Blakes. "We can prevent bullying in their schools, not only that, just give them a care-free environment to learn, because they are our future."

Buckets and the rest of the Harlem Globetrotters will be back in town Feb. 26th at 7:00 PM at the Wicomico and Youth Civic Center.
