SALISBURY, Md. - The Salisbury Zoo is welcoming the newest member of the animal family.
Two Bolivian Gray Titi Monkeys gave birth to their first baby last month. WMDT went to the Zoo Friday to check out the little guy. The baby monkey is less than a month old now, and we're told this is a pretty rare species.
"In North America, there are 11 geological institutions that house them and the birth of this baby makes number 50 in the country," said Ann Konopick, Acting Zoo Director.
Here's an interesting fact. You can tell they're compatible when their tails intertwine together, similar to holding hands.
