Arrested: Nathan McNeill
DOVER, Del. - Police have made an arrest in a murder that happened earlier this month. Dover Police say that they arrested 44-year-old Nathan McNeill, of Dover, in connection with a February 1st shooting that left one person dead, and another wounded.
According to the report, before the shooting, a group of people were sitting outside of building 992 in the Whatcoat Apartments in Dover, when a dark colored vehicle drove past them, made a u-turn, then stopped and opened fire. Two men were hit, 18-year-old Imeer Waddell, of Dover, in the head, and a 19-year-old in the arm. Waddell later died at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital. The other victim was treated and released.
McNeill is charged with 1st degree murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, 2nd degree assault, 1st degree reckless endangering, and 5 counts of criminal mischief. He is now being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional without bond.
