PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Some big names in music are headlining this year's University of Maryland Eastern Shore Homecoming Concert.

Rappers 2 Chainz and Juicy J where they are expected to perform some of their top hits at the William P. Hytche Athletic Center.

WMDT spoke with several excited students who tell us what it means to bring the well-known artists to their campus.

Rebecca Dean says that "a lot of people don't come here. This is such a small town, they come to Baltimore and stuff like that. So I think it's important that we get a show, too. We don't have to go all the way over there just to go see [them]."

"It just gives back to the community," said Aaron Cork, a junior at UMES. "A lot of kids who go here come from communities where most of these artists actually come from as well."

Now, WMDT has heard of reports that several people were taken out of the show in an ambulance. An immediate call to UMES Police has not been returned and Princess Anne Fire Department would not confirm the details at this time.
