Couples Wed Over The Air At Local Radio Station

Posted: Updated:

GEORGETOWN, Del. -- Love was in the air and over the air at OC 104 this Valentines Day. Five lucky couples tied the knot live, for all of Delmarva to hear.

"We had tons of people write in and we went through each E-mail and we narrowed it down to 5," host Bill Baker tells WMDT.

He adds, "we basically give out free weddings what better thing to do on Valentines Day."

WMDT's Jenn Falsetti joined the Host of 0C 104's Hip Hop Coffee Shop, to ring in this day of love with the newly weds.

Natalie and Anthony have been together for 14 years, and knew Thursday was the time to get hitched.

"When I heard that OC 104 had the contest going on of course I sent multiple e-mails and they called us," Groom, Anthony Fenstermacher tells us.

His new bride Natalie weighed in.

"It's awesome we've been wanting to do this for a long time and working full time with three kids it's just so hard to get everybody together."

The two have been through it all. Anthony has been by his brides side through school, 3 kids, and her battle with cancer.

"Last year I just was diagnosed with skin melanoma and I had to have surgery. They did remove it, thank Goodness. He was there by my side and he's the love of my life."
