SALISBURY, Md. - Great news for the Life Crisis Center in Salisbury!
Their K.I.D.D. Fund just received a $13,000 check from BB&T on Wednesday. The local branches raised the money through small $1 donations this past fall.
The money will be used to help children who are victims of domestic violence.
"The K.I.D.D. fund is there to provide as much normalcy for a child who is in a situation through no fault of his or her own, which is abnormal. So we try to provide those things that make children's lives like every other child's life," Executive Director of the Life Crisis Center Michele Hughes said.
