
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - Nina Mae Fiege, 97, died Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Manokin Manor Nursing Home in Princess Anne, MD. Born in Winston-Salem, NC on March 15, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Robert S. Wiles and Bessie Mahaffey. Nina moved to Baltimore with her husband George in the 1930's and started working for what became the Rexham Corp. She and George moved to Atlanta , GA in the early 1950's where she made a name for herself within the corporation in sales and plant management even though she only had a 7th grade education. Nina will be remembered for her sheer force of personality, her zest for living, and youthful attitude.
She is preceded in death by her husband George Fiege, and siblings: Elma Adkins of Salisbury, MD, Claude Wiles of Allen, MD, Myrtle Nuckols of Richmond, VA, Margaret Chew of Salisbury, MD, and Winford Wiles of Eden, MD. She is survived by one remaining brother, Thomas Wiles of Princess Anne, MD and many nieces and nephews.
The family requests that no flowers or donations be made. They appreciate all the thoughts and prayers. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 11:00 AM Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury, MD. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Laura Dorsey will officiate. A Private interment will be held at Parson's Cemetery in Salisbury.
