FELTON, Del.
– Delaware State Troopers are searching for a man who is suspected in an armed
robbery of a local convenience store on Tuesday.
According to
police, around 2:00 a.m. in the morning, a white male suspect came into the Shore
Stop on the 8900 block of South DuPont Highway brandishing a large knife. That's when police say he demanded
money from the lone 27-year-old female employee.
According to
police, the employee walked behind the counter and removed an undisclosed
amount of cash from the register and handed it over to the suspect. Police say
the man proceeded to flee the scene on foot.
No injuries
were reported.
Delaware
State Troopers describe the suspect as a white male, 18-30 years old, around 5'10".
He was reportedly in a dark hooded sweatshirt with a white cloth over his
mouth.
