WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Police in Wilmington say they're investigating a two vehicle crash in Wilmington that sent three people to the hospital and also resulted in damage to two parked cars.
Police say the crash happened Sunday afternoon at 2:35 p.m. at the intersection of Broom and West Fourth streets. Police say an investigation determined a red Chevy Lumina van collided with a green Ford Windstar. The Lumina rolled several times before striking two parked cars, and the car's two occupants were trapped for about 40 minutes until rescue units arrived.
Police say the two people in the Lumina and the driver of the Windstar were taken to a hospital. Police did not know their conditions.
