Warwick Elementary School's New Great Wall of Art

Posted: Updated:

DORCHESTER CO., Md. - A local elementary school has a new student created feature. Warwick Elementary School now has a Great Wall of Art, thanks to a little help from Square 1 Art Company.

Each student created tiles of art using varying themes, and Square 1 then made each student a personalized catalog of their work. This experience gave all the students a feeling of having their work printed and published.

Administrators then asked students to donate one of their tiles to be displayed on the school wall. The more than 100 tiles were then framed and hung where students, families, and the community can enjoy them.

Officials are planning on repeating the project again this Spring, and grow their collection every year, giving the students to see their artistic abilities progress through their years at Warwick.
