Suspect Sought In Scheme That Defrauded Woman

MILTON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police are asking for the public's help in finding a man charged with scamming a woman with a fraudulent check.
    
Troopers say 42-year-old Booker T. Martin of Lincoln has been charged with forgery and theft by pretense.
    
Authorities say on June 29, Martin persuaded a woman to deposit a check into her bank account and withdraw most of it to give to him.
    
Troopers say the check was found to be from a closed account, and the woman's account was charged more than $2,100.
