Lewes Polar Bear Plunge

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - We already had the penguin swim, now it's time for the Lewes Polar Bear Plunge.  The annual event raises money for Special Olympics Delaware.

Pre-registration has closed, but you can still register day-of starting at 10am.  Event officials say all you need is at least $50.  Just look for the line that says "Day-of Bears" at the registration tent on Rehoboth Avenue near the boardwalk.

The Lewes Polar Bear Plunge is Sunday, February 3rd at 1:00 pm.
