Wor-Wic Community College Afford College Day

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - High school seniors looking for some financial aid before heading off to college spent the day at Wor-Wic for some assistance today.

The Community College sponsored their yearly "You Can Afford College" day where they help prospective students fill out their FAFSA applications.

College representatives consulted with students one-on-one to give them personalized advice.

"Not even just high students, but anybody returning to college with the rise of unemployment more people have been going back to college to try to get a better start," said Erin Holmes, coordinator for College Goal Sunday Maryland.

If you missed this event and would like to find out more information, you can email Holmes at eholmes@worwic.edu or call Wor-Wic College Financial Aid at (410) 334-2905.
