Maryland State Police Cracking Down Super Bowl Sunday

MARYLAND - If you're a Raven's Superfan, Maryland State Police has a warning for you this weekend: designate a driver.  

Each of the 22 barracks state-wide will have extra patrols out on Superbowl Sunday, specifically targeting impaired driving.

The penalty for driving under the influence can be up to one year in jail and a thousand dollar fine for a first offense.
