Man Charged With Burglary In Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - A former resident was arrested after allegedly breaking into a home. On Thursday, around 11:15 AM, Salisbury Police responded to a burglary in progress on Bell Avenue.

An investigation showed that William Holt, 31, who has no fixed address, broke a window to get into the garage. Police say that Holt had once lived there. When he was arrested, he reportedly had prescription medication on him.

He was charged with 4th degree burglary, malicious destruction of property, possession of controlled prescription drug, possession of drug paraphernalia. Holt was later released to the custody of central booking.
