Libraries Helps Del. Agency Collect Items For kids

Posted: Updated:

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - Libraries across Delaware are helping to collect donations of children's books and DVDs to go to kids at a residential treatment center for children with mental health challenges.

The donated books and DVDs will go to the Terry Children's Center in New Castle. The center can serve up to 42 children at a time.

Items are being collected at public libraries in Wilmington, Hockessin, Newark, Dover, Bridgeville and Millsboro. The state is using its social media networks to promote the drive for donations. Items will be accepted through February.
