Performers Prep For Rock 'n' Roll Revival

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - A popular high school show is only eight days away from kickoff and WMDT got a sneak peek of one of the rehearsals!

Performers for the Rock 'N Roll Revival rehearsed for the 15th annual show, which also helps support the James M. Bennett PTA.

If you're interested in knowing what popular songs you might hear at the event, we can give you a hint. While we were there, the students sang some hits from a former Super Bowl Halftime performer.

Last year alone, event coordinators tell us they raised $33,000 from the show.

"This music is just great," said producer Chris Wilde. "It's all live. Nothing's canned, except maybe a motorcycle sound or something like that, but it's the only fundraiser for the {James M.} Bennett PTA, so we really try to do a good job."

We are told the first Saturday show is already sold out.  The show starts Friday, Feb. 8th.  If interested, you can buy tickets for any of the six other shows at the Bennett Auditorium during rehearsals from 7-8 p.m.

Also, tickets are on sale at Bank of Delmarva on Eastern Shore Dr. Tickets are $20 Friday-Sunday and $15 on Thursday.
