Posted: Updated:

HEBRON, Md. - A fire that broke out in an abandoned home in Hebron, has been ruled as arson.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office says the blaze started a little before 2:30 AM on Thursday morning, on the front porch of the vacant three story Lillian Street home. It took 15 firefighters around a half hour to control the fire, that caused $1,500 in damages. No injures were reported.

Officials are saying it was arson, and are asking anyone with information to contact the Salisbury Office of the State Fire Marshal at 410-713-3780.
