MARYLAND - If you're heading over the Bay Bridge Wednesday, there maybe delays due to wind restrictions, so plan accordingly.
Wind restrictions are now in effect on the Bay Bridge. Two-way operations, in which an eastbound lane is opened on the westbound span, is not expected to be put in place this afternoon. Drivers may experience delays when crossing the bridge.
Officials will continue to monitor conditions. In the case of a wind warning, vehicles that may be subject to high winds are advised to use caution while crossing the bridge.
When wind restrictions are implemented, house trailers, empty box vehicles or any vehicle that, in the opinion of law enforcement personnel, may not safely cross the bridge will be prohibited from crossing.
