Milton Man Charged With Assault

MILTON, Del. -  A brutal assault lands a Milton man behind bars.

Police say 42-year-old John Distefano became upset with the victim and grabbed a aluminum bat, striking the victim in the back of the head. Distefano then continued the attack by punching the victim in the face.

He has been charged with 2nd Degree Assault, along with other related charges. The victim was taken to Beebe Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
