Berlin Debates Alcohol, Storm Water

BERLIN, Md. - There were plenty of questions for the Berlin City Council tonight.

The group tackled several topics, among them were an annual renewal of a special alcohol permit, and establishing a storm water utility department.

It could vote to allow alcohol in non-glass containers in designated areas as it has done since 2010. It pertains to a few select special events, such as New Year's Eve.

The storm water utility department was open for public feedback, and many were concerned about the financial impact the new utility could have on residents and business owners.

Discussions lasted late into the evening, but we'll be sure to bring you the outcomes as soon as they are available.
