EDEN, Md. - The flu has swept the country, hitting children and the elderly hardest.
So businesses like Crown Sports in Eden are taking germ prevention seriously.
With on-field action, arcade games and a daycare, germs are sure to spread among their young customers.
Crown Sports General Manager Lynn Philips says they have a strategic cleaning plan, but in a few cases, it was too late.
"We've actually had a few of our kids get sick, so we know it's going around," said Philips.
She says the crew uses frequent wipe-downs, mop-ups and plenty of hand sanitizer.
The CDC reported 37 children have died this year from the flu epidemic.
