ILC Dover Receives Two Taxpayer Grants

NEW CASTLE, Del. - Taxpayer money is coming to the Delaware company known for making NASA spacesuits.

Officials confirm to WMDT that the Council on Development Finance approved two grants requested by ILC Dover. The manufacturing company will receive a Strategic Fund Performance Grant of $364,500 in return for bringing in 115 new jobs in Delaware.
    
ILC Dover also asked for a capital expenditures grant of $187,860 for relocating from Juarez, Mexico to Seaford

DEDO officials tell WMDT that ILC Dover will receive the first part of the performance grant this June.  The second draw will be received June 2014.
