SALISBURY, Md. - Officials say that they believe an early morning drive-by shooting and house fire in Salisbury are related.

Police are currently investigating an apparent attempted murder and arson.

Police say that two males were witnessed running from the scene.

Gunfire reportedly rang out on the 500-block of Swan Road just before 1:00 a.m. Monday morning, shortly after the house went up in flames. While there were no human injuries, Maryland State Police confirms that a dog was killed. No details yet on how it died.
