LEWES, Del. (AP) - Four teenagers are among the five people charged in the robbery of two young men in a Lewes motel room.
State police say the youngest people charged are two 15-year-old girls, both of whom have been charged as adults along with the other three suspects.
Police say the girls and a 19-year-old woman had arranged to meet the two victims at a room in the Anchorage Motel. Early Sunday morning, police say a 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy entered the room and robbed the victims with the aid of the females inside. Police say the older man was armed with a handgun, and that the robbers stole backpacks with cash inside.
The five suspects were arrested after their vehicle was pulled over about a half-hour after the alleged robbery.
