OC Police Investigating "Unattended Death"

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Ocean City police are investigating what they say is an "unattended death" outside of the Harbor Inn bar early Saturday morning. 

Police say that officers and paramedics responded to 216 Somerset St. at approximately 1:30 a.m. Saturday, in reference to a person who was found unconscious on the street.

According to police, the male, identified as Michael Eric Post, 39, of Ocean City  was located and taken to Atlantic General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the body will be taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Maryland in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine the manner and cause of Post's death.
