Free 5K Run/2-Mile Walk at Peninsula Regional

SALISBURY, Md. - Peninsula Regional Medical Center and its Guerrieri Heart & Vascular Institute team welcome runners and walkers to join them at their American Heart Month "Heart & Sole" 5K Run/2 Mile Walk on Sunday, February 3, 2013.

The run/walk, to promote exercise and heart health awareness, will begin at the Avery W. Hall Educational Center at 9:00 a.m. Registration is free and free parking will be provided in the parking lot directly across from the Educational Center on the corner of Waverly Drive and Locust Street.

Participants will run or walk a course established near the Medical Center. Baby joggers and pets are welcome, but please no rollerblades, skateboards or bicycles. The event will not be timed. Post race door prizes will be awarded and heart-healthy refreshments will be served.
