Tax Relief For Farmers And Fishermen In MD

MARYLAND - Maryland farmers and fishermen are getting a bit of relief when it comes to filing taxes.

Comptroller Peter Franchot is removing the penalty for filing late, because of this year's delayed start to tax season.

Missing the deadline typically results in interest penalties. Now, farmers and fisherman have until April 15th and must make full payment at that time.
